E-ngageLive at the ACPO Youth Justice Conference
E-ngageLive featured a seminar at the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Youth Justice Conference in Essex on 14th November.
The seminar featured a number of illustrations of E-ngageLive projects including a presentation by Sgt Dave Glover of Cambridgeshire Constabulary of a partnership project with the schools in the County, in which the LA manage the interactive project enabling schools to take part in a number of exciting projects focussing on different aspects of the role of the police in working to create safer communities.
Dave Glover said, “The children get really involved in the projects and the teacher’s are keen to bring different aspects of the community to the curriculum”.
Examples of how E-ngage was able to offer a new approach to support the work of police officers and PCSO’s in schools with of bullying, drug misuse prevention, restorative justice and personal safety among other issues provided and focus for the seminar.
